Happy Holidays to you and yours. For many, the holidays are a time to gather with friends and family to visit a warm sentiment of belonging. While for others, it’s a difficult reminder of the people we’ve loved and lost and hold only in memory, some of the best times of our lives. However different our holiday’s are celebrated, we still have something in common. We’ve had experiences that inform us that things could be worse. We know we don’t have to be well because we remember a time when we were sick, we don’t have to be at home because we remember when we didn’t have a place to call home. My point is, let’s use this day to nurture a spirit of gratefulness. Gratefulness for all that we do have. And why only have thanksgiving once a year, when we can incorporate thankfulness as a spiritual practice. A practice to feed our hungry souls so that the feeling of abundance runneth over to all who we meet. May your joy runneth over.
